Long time ago, when there was no electricity, steam engines or mechanical engines in the world, people were also able to design and build huge buildings and machines. There were workplaces, steelworks,forges and mines. Thanks to the use of unique technical equipment, huge weights were transported at great heights and distances.
All kinds of medieval technical equipment: powerful millwheels, direction, steelworks and keel crushers can be seen in the Medieval Mining Settlement in Złoty Stok. Each device works perfectly and is fully interactive – you only need the strenght of your muscles to set them in motion.Additionally a mysterious and unforgetable „maze of fear” awaits you on the sightseeing tour.
The last stage of your wandering around the medieval world is The Angle’s Cottage” where you will see what kind of punishments were the criminals treated with in those times and what the executioner was really doing. The cottage’s host will tell you many interesting facts about his job. Another attraction in our place is a ride in a Leonarodo da Vinci’s tank, constructed in the smallest detail according to his idea and plans. It is the only exhibit in Poland that is fully mobile.
